Located in the heart of Cairns, Trinity Inlet has some of the best estuary fishing Cairns has to offer.
The scenery in Trinity Inlet is absolutely spectacular. Surrounded by lush greenery and rainforest clad mountains, it is one of the regions most diverse and productive systems.
Fishing in Trinity Inlet from the comfort of our 8-meter boat, you could catch more than 10 species from a single location, depending on the weather and tide conditions.
Trinity Inlet is home to a great diversity of species including the famous Barramundi, Mangrove jack and Trevally, Salmon, Grunter, Jew Fish, Fingermark and Gold Spot Cod to name just a few. In all, around 50 species of fish reside in this expansive system.
All trips begin with the collection of live bait with a cast net. This in itself is an experience for those who have not seen it done before.
We cater for all levels of experience and all bait and tackle is supplied. Our experienced guides will show the novice angler the right technique to catch the best fish.

Apart from the fishing, the area offers an abundance of other wildlife to look out for. There are around 20 species of bird that include birds of Prey such as the Osprey, Brahminy Kite and the magnificent White Bellied Sea Eagle.
And don’t forget to be on the look out for Salt Water Crocodiles!

Highly Recommend

Fantastic Day Out Fishing
Would highly recommend this fishing trip to anyone travelling to Cairns. The skipper is so friendly and accomodating. He gave clear instructions pre trip and even arranged a local restaurant on the esplanade to cook our fish which was amazing. Thank you for a great day out.

Excellent Fishing Trip!
We booked this half day trip as we wanted to go fishing but were only in Cairns for a few days with our partners. Jacob, the Captain was an excellent host and extremely knowledgeable about fishing. The equipment was good and the boat was comfortable and everyone on board had an excellent time. We caught five species during the trip and Jacob even tried to find a crocodile for us to take a look at. A great little fishing trip that I would recommend to novices and experienced Anglers alike!
Great experience
Great experience taken out by Jacob. He was very knowledgeable and patient with my two young sons. We all caught fish and had a great time. Jacob was awesome, knew the area extensively and was very accommodating, highly recommend for both experienced & inexperienced fisherman!
